First Coast News | Top Stories: ", FL -- Susan Bennett is a concerned mother who says what her daughter is learning at Paxon High School is unacceptable.

The controversial film, Fahrenheit 911, was recently shown to students in Brittany Bennetts TV production class. Her mother says it has no business being in class because it is an R-rated film and parents were never given parental permission slips for the viewing"

How the hell can that be an R rated film? And how can anyone with reasonable sense think that it would be inappropriate for a student audience? I have watched this film and there is no nudity at all or violence (other than some brief shots of some riots, far worse is broadcast every night on prime time news channels..Fox anyone?) and I only heard the narrator swear twice. If this isn't a prime example of censorship abuse then I don't know what is.
