The demolition company doing the work got into hot water with the Ministry of Labour and work was halted for several months at this point. Toxic dust from the demolition of the buildings blowing into the nearby subdivision was part of it. Irionically the same people that squacked wanting the buildings torn down complained again when they finally did start tearing them down about dust and noise. I also believe that parties interested in preserving the old buildings were trying to halt the demolition, though by this time it was too late. They had years to try to preserve the buildings and probably would of succeeded if they had taken the initiative years ago before vandals destroyed all the buildings. I was told that the local town council was going to try to develop the buildings into something usefull, like a professional business park but when investers went to look at them they saw the damage and neglect and it was an embarrasment to the town officials who thus enraged had them slated for demolation. It didn't take them long to start demolishing them either once they decided on it.

Whity Psyche Auditorium

The Whitby Psyche auditorium days before they started to knock it down. It was pitch dark when these were taken and at the time we noticed nothing amiss. Comments on each one below the respective pics.

Some random grafitti I saw, its everywhere.

Me and Trevor ..Notice the orbs...their not in but a few pics, and they were all taken with the same camera in the same light conditions. Here is a bigger pic to get a better look. --> psych2.jpg

Here is a shot of one of the underground service tunnels. They connected all the buildings and housed the steam pipes that ran from the steam plant to heat all the various buildings. Notice all the jack stands they had to install at one point to keep the place from caving in. Again if you look carefully you will see some random orbs.

Jim and Rob in a weird pose, I don't think they were ready for the picture and it was pitch black in that room. Again several random orbs.

Some more grafitti, and a surprised Jim, remember its pitch dark in there. Sudden camera flashes have a startling effect. No orbs in this shot.

A pair of hot water boilers under one of the buildings we passed when exploring the tunnels. Again no orbs here.

This pic has tonnes of orbs in it, that is Rob and his girl and Jim looking at something I forget what. At the time we noticed nothing amiss.

fullsize.jpg

I got more pics with orbs but only a few in each and most of the pics I took that night had none.
